SEVENTEEN shocked Carats around the world last month when they uploaded their teaser video titled ‘An Ode 2: Fear‘. It is a sequel to their previously uploaded prologue ‘An Ode 1: Unchained Melody‘. It looks like they have started a new series in the forms of “odes“. The digital single ‘HIT‘ was released not long ago.
Many fans were confused when SEVENTEEN announced concerts in South Korea in September when they had not released any new albums. Their questions have been answered as the group will make their comeback on September 16th with a new album. They will probably go on a full-fledged world tour after the release.
Now, it has been revealed that they will be releasing their third album called ‘An Ode‘ on September 16th. Previously, they had released a comeback trailer, official photos and a track list. Now, they have released a highlight medley. Check it out below!
Highlight medley:
The first track is ‘Hit‘, which was previously released with an MV. ‘Lie Again‘ takes on a more mellow tune and is much slower. However, it speeds up during the chorus. The title track ‘Fear‘ goes hard! It features falsetto vocals and a heavy and strong beat. On the other hand, ‘Let me hear you say‘ is more cheerful and upbeat. ‘247‘, the performance team’s song, places heavy emphasis on the beat. ‘Second Life‘ is a feel-good song by the vocal team. ‘Network Love‘ by Jun, Joshua, The8 and Vernon sounds like it will be an amazing collaboration. Like all their other songs, ‘Back it up‘ by the hip hop team is full of power. ‘Lucky‘ and ‘Snap Shoot‘ are also happy, feel-good songs. The last song is a Korean version of ‘Happy Ending‘, their first Japanese single. It is definitely a suitable last song, judging by its title.
