KCON USA, the world’s largest Korean culture convention and music festival presented by Toyota, shared the first two artists to perform in Los Angeles. It is no one else other than SF9 and Girl´s Day!
SF9 is a group under FNC Entertainment and consists of nine members: Young Bin, In Seong, Jae Yoon, Da Won, Ro Woon, Zu Ho, Tae Yang, Hwi Young, and Cha Ni. They debuted in October 2016 with the single album ‘Feeling Sensation‘ and very catchy song ‘Fanfare‘. Their second mini album ‘Breaking Sensation‘ achieved no. 5 on Billboard´s World Albums Chart. Check their song ‘Easy love‘ below from this album that now has almost 2 millions views on YouTube.
Girl´s Day is a four member group under Dream Tea Entertainment. Sojin, Minah, Yura, and Hyeri debuted in July 2010 with ‘Girl’s Day Party #1‘. Their first full-length album ‘Expectation‘ was released in March 2013. The title track ‘Expectation‘ has been awarded as the ‘Long-Run Song of the Year’ award at the third Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. Check out their newest track ‘I’ll be yours‘ from their EP ‘Everyday 5‘. This album placed no. 7 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and the MV reached 2 million views in less than 24 hours after uploading.
The KCON in Los Angeles will take place on August 18 thru 20, in the Staples Center, the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the surrounding entertainment district.
