After months of speculation, E.L.F.‘s finally have the answer they’ve been looking for. Shindong finally has a finalized date to start his mandatory military service. He will be reporting on November 25th to the 306th Reserve Corps in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi province to receive five weeks of training before serving as a full active soldier.
The sad news is that due to his enlistment and in order to prepare for his military services, Shindong will not be able to participate in Super Junior’s upcoming ‘Super Show 6′.
Many fans are sad to see Shindong leave but at the same time they are very proud of him and asking him to serve his country well.
In case you aren’t familiar, every Korean male is required to serve in the Korean military. The average time of service is 21 months, but the actual time depends on the branch of service the gentleman enters. Currently, his fellow SuJu member Yesung serving as an active duty soldier. The period of his enlistment is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, 30th of April 2015.
