Combining the two chapters of their third album, SHINee is back with a new repackaged album ‘The Misconceptions of Us.’
Released on August 8th, the album contains songs from the first two chapters as well as two whole new songs, “Selene 6.23” and “Better Off”. New song “Selene 6.23” is a ballad with an orchestral sound and hints of a piano. It talks about having a crush and describes unrequited love. The song “Better Off” is a pop ballad which talks about the sadness of a breakup.
The songs’ lyrics were written by SHINee’s Jonghyun.
