It was revealed that KBS‘ sitcom, ‘Shut Up Family‘ will officially change its name to ‘Family’.
Kairos Enterpries stated: ‘The sitcom ‘Shutup Family’ has changed its title to ‘Family’. Though the title is different, you’ll still continue to support the series, right? From now on, we’ll be using ‘Family’ and reading it [in a shortened form] as well.’
Many viewers complained about public program using inappropriate language in the sitcom’s title.
To all those complains, Broadcast Communication Review Committee recommended the producers a name change citing as an ‘impediment to public dignity.’
The producers ensured: ‘We’ll be making a new [start] with this title change.’
