Simon Dominic has made his return with ‘Me No Jay Park‘ where the track is composed and arranged by GRAY. Through this new single, Simon has some things to say and he did it through his lyrics. It is through music that he is able to explain how he is feeling. So, check it out below!
With this simple music video where we see Simon in a studio with a red lighting, it definitely helps set the mood of the track. Then, we are hit with his distinct voice that fans love and enjoy. He went rap with the lyrics and showed off his deep voice that works so well with his beats. It shows off his great rawness that surely brings chills to those who listen. Meanwhile, the lyrics itself is quite deep and sad. The first verse, he compares himself to Jay Park especially the way haters see him (someone who makes excuse, talks too much but never make it happen). He feels like he isn’t living up to his CEO title. Furthermore, He talks about how he continues to work; where the pressure and his own perfectionism ends up being a negative impact on his rap.
The second verse goes on about how he has lost his self-confidence and needs time to recover. Doing so, he wants to be himself again. Thus, he announces he will be resigning as Co-CEO and thus gives up his shares of the company.
Meanwhile, AOMG has confirmed that “Simon will be stepping down as Co-CEO as stated in his track. He plans to remain as an artist under AOMG.” Many would view his latest track as a resignation letter as a Co-CEO of AOMG. He will continue to be an artist under AOMG but won’t be doing any office work. Rather he will now be focusing more on himself, as well as his music.
We hope to see more great tracks from Simon! So, be sure to check out the music video above. What did you feel? Let us know in the comments below!
Officially Kmusic will keep you updated, so stay tuned!
