SM Entertainment has collaborated with United Nations Children‘s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) on their 2016 #IMAGINE Project, a campaign that supports equal opportunities for children all over the world. The project was planned since 2015; recently the 2016 #IMAGINE Project dropped a stunning cover of John Lennon‘s “Imagine” featuring vocals from SM Artists who are also special representatives of UNICEF.
The SM artists that were featured in the music video include: EXO‘s Baekhyun & Chen, Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun, J-Min, Lee Dong Woo, SHINee‘s Minho, Super Junior‘s Siwon, TRAX‘s Jay, and TVXQ‘s Changmin.
Other featured artists in music video included Katy Perry, will.i.am, David Guetta, and many more! Check out the music video below:
SM artists are recognizable faces in UNICEF campaigns since a handful of groups and idols have been chosen to be special ambassadors. Last year, EXO collaborated with fashion brand, SPAO, to support a UNICEF charity campaign. Girls’ Generation‘s subunit, TaeTiSeo, have also donated a part of their Christmas album proceeds to UNICEF.
