As ridiculous as it may seem, some fans were suspicious over Tao and Jia‘s relationship ever since the Chinese EXO member changed his Weibo profile picture to one of the Chinese miss A member’s cat, and the rumors got so wild that both agencies had to step forward to refute them.
JYP Entertainment and SM Entertainment mutually announced, “Tao and Jia have always been close friends. The idol singers who come from China usually get along like best friends.” They mentioned that Tao loves cats, and decided to make it his profile picture harmlessly after Jia shared him a photo of her cat.
Fans commented, “I wouldn’t mind if they date,” “All this over a cat?” and “This suddenly came out, but Jia’s had photos with Zhoumi and Kris before, and there was nothing?”
