Fans all around the world are constantly looking for ways to stay in touch and up to date on exactly what their favorite idol or group is doing. With the continued expansion of the internet and technological gadgets, like smartphones and tablets, sites based on social media sharing continue to see their popularity rise.
With new types of SNS sites popping up all over the place, international and local fans both take to these sites in hopes that idols will also be looking to stay in touch through them. And many idols do exactly that.
Using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Weibo and so many more to keep fans current not only on their promotional activities, but as well their personal life. Posting pictures of their loving family, beloved pets, vacation spots and causes they campaign, idols have become less and less shy about sharing personal information with their fans through the use of SNS sites. Dropping teasers on upcoming tracks and giving glimpses of performance practices and of life back stage, fans have been given a chance to see their idols in ways that was previously unheard of. International fans, especially, are probably extremely happy with all these personal interactions that idols now provide through SNS. It used to be more likely that an international fan would only ever hear about what their favorite group was doing second hand through news sites.
Fan talks and live broadcasted meet and greets are only a couple of ways that idols directly interact with fans now through SNS, providing the amazing chance to actually have a one on one moment with the idol of your dreams. It’s no surprise that every day, more and more idols take the time to make accounts on one SNS site or another.
Entertainment companies and music labels are even getting in on the act making accounts to promote their groups latest album and in some cases even creating apps made to allow fans the opportunity to see things they never would have before.
So to help Officially KMusic readers stay in touch with all these amazing idols we have composed, what surely is only a partial list, of official and confirmed Twitter accounts. This is only the first list we will be providing. Make sure you stay tuned to KMusic for upcoming articles on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts belonging to idols and their groups. Also if you see we have left someone off this list, which I’m sure we have, please feel free to share the information with us so we can update the list with the missing information.
The list isn’t in alphabetical order and is fairly long, but in most cases if you use the ctrl plus F function, or find feature, you should be able to search for a particular name.
Happy tweeting KMusic readers!
