SNSD Is No. 1 On Billboard’s World Albums Chart

Girls’ Generation (SNSD) has managed to reach the top of Billboard‘s World Albums Chart with their newest album “Lion Heart.”

“Lion Heart” is Girls’ Generation’s fifth full length album, and features the title songs “PARTY,” “Lion Heart,” and “You Think.” It reached No. 1 on the chart on August 19th. It is the second time they have topped the charts, following “I Got A Boy,” which was released in 2013.

Girls’ Generation is the sixth K-Pop act to achieve multiple No. 1s on Billboard’s World Albums Chart, joining fellow SM Entertainment artists SHINee, EXO, and their own subunit Girls’ Generation-TTS, as well as G-Dragon and B.A.P.
