The summer just got hotter! SNSD is finally making a comeback with a new album in the works according to SM Entertainment, joining the hot summer line-up of comebacks, from BIGBANG to SISTAR.
SNSD has been busy in preparing their most anticipated comeback yet, especially with them promoting for the first time since Jessica’s highly publicized departure from the group. SM Entertainment revealed that the current 8-member girl group is expected to make their return sometime in late June or late July, but no official date set. On June 3rd, SM Entertainment spoke on SNSD’s comeback stating to NEWSEN, “SNSD is preparing for its album, but the release date has not been decided yet.”
SNSD made their return in April with the released the Korean version of their latest Japanese single, “Catch Me If You Can.” Even though the track did perform well on the charts, the group had not promoted the track at all in Korea. Once the album is released, of course many questions will be asked regarding their current image and how the group has changed, and it may even be up for debate whether or not the group will promote at all, or promote to a minimum.
The groups last promotion was in February 2014 with their last album “Mr.Mr.” Stay tuned for more details!
