SM Entertainment is keeping to their schedule and released their fourth digital single for the SM Digital Music Channel called STATION.
The next song to be added is a beautiful duet between Red Velvet’s Wendy and Eric Nam under CJ E&M. SM has been dropping clues on what to expect next for their new digitals through a map that looks like a subway schedule. This time it showed two artists would be working together.
True to their words of working with producers, composers, and artists inside and outside their label, it was a pleasant surprise to see Eric Nam working on this new song. He is a renown artist and television personality most commonly known for his hosting skills on Arirang TV’s ‘After School Club’ with Park Jimin from JYP’s 15& and Kevin Woo of NH Media’s U-Kiss.
‘봄인가 봐 (Spring Love)’ is a light and cheerful duet about how two friends slowly fell for one another during the beautiful Spring season. Wendy and Eric compliment one another with their gentle vocals and wonderful harmonies. The video doesn’t help but make you smile as you see the two enjoying a day together goofing around and enjoying one another’s company. It’s so terribly cute you really must check it out.
It’s good to see Wendy getting a single on the new project. I had the pleasure of seeing her duet with Zion.T for his hit ‘양화대교 (Yanghwa Bridge)’ at KCON LA 2015 and she has also been able to showcase her singing as an individual artist when she performed with hip-hop legends MFBTY for ‘Angel’ at the 2016 Seoul Music Awards. I really enjoyed this song and it’s perfect for the season. I can’t wait to see what next week brings.
