The twins from Crayon Pop have finally debuted as the unit Strawberry Milk! In a fashion we’ve come to identify with Crayon Pop, their music video for “OK” is definitely something to talk about.
The song is extremely cute without being too sugary. There hasn’t been a song released this year that is like “OK” and that in and of itself is quite a feat. With two people as unique as Way and Choa there is always a concern that their next release won’t live up to their legend. This song shows that the twins are just getting started when it comes to their concepts and content.
The video’s choreography and visual effects play with the twin concept very well. It features mirrored dance steps, matching outfits, scenarios where they were mirroring each other and the clone effect worked out in a perfectly. At times it was hard to tell when effects were being used and when it was just them being themselves.
Check out this explosion of cuteness:
What did you think of this new sub-unit? Many people are comparing them to Orange Caramel but that is just a surface comparison because of minor similarities in the video. One listen to this song shows that both Strawberry Milk and Orange Caramel are unique groups with unique concepts and talents. Let us know what you thought about the song in the comments below!
