Changbin from Stray Kids has just released his first original solo song and MV as part of ‘SKZ-PLAYER‘. Changbin wrote the lyrics for ‘Streetlight‘ and composed it with leader Bang Chan, while the latter arranged it. Both of them are part of the group’s producing trio 3RACHA, along with Han. Although Bang Chan provides vocals for the song, he does not appear in the MV.
‘Streetlight‘ is a song very personal to Changbin and describes the hurt feelings of encountering trouble and not knowing what to do about it. Check out the video for it below.
STRAY KIDS’ Changbin – ‘Streetlight’ featuring Bang Chan:
The song is melancholy, matching its message. Changbin‘s vocals are raw and his emotions are clearly conveyed through his voice. Being known as one of the best rappers of the fourth generation of K-pop, this particular track really showcases his unique talent. Bang Chan‘s vocals initially have a low-tone, but later on as he harmonises with Changbin, it complements the latter’s deep voice well. The MV depicts Changbin singing and rapping in an empty auditorium with only some props to accompany him.
