Stray Kids have had an explosive year with their first comeback in 2019 on their first anniversary, March 25th. They released ‘Miroh‘, which was the first instalment of their ‘Clé‘ trilogy. ‘Miroh‘ earned the group their very first music show win. In June, ‘Clé 2: Yellow Wood‘ and title track ‘Side Effects‘ was released, continuing the series. Fans predict that their next album release ‘Clé: Levanter‘ will complete this series.

On October 9th, Stray Kids released the MV for their first pre-release single ‘Double Knot‘. The song is originally by 3RACHA, the group’s producing unit made up of leader Bang Chan, Changbin and Han. Check it out below!

Stray Kids’ ‘Double Knot’ MV:

The MV seems to take place in some futuristic world with two moons. There aren’t a lot of buildings and skyscrapers, not like what we saw in ‘Miroh‘. Nine keys are visible, one for each member. Similarly, at the end of the MV, the phrase “the owners of clé” appear – “clé” is French for “key“. Most of the singing, rapping and choreography is done outdoor. Cool video effects have been employed for this MV. Like the rest of their comebacks this year, the chorus has an EDM base. The song is intense and has a powerful beat, demonstrating the rookie group’s mature sound. There is an emphasis on dance as this is probably their most complicated choreography yet.

Stray Kids are about to drop their biggest release yet! On September 30th, they released a video teaser titled ‘The Final Piece 2019‘, which contains a short schedule at the end. Their second pre-release single, ‘Astronaut‘, will be released exactly one month later on November 9th. On November 23rd, the group will embark on their first world tour ‘District 9: Unlock‘ starting in Seoul. They are expected to release more tour dates and locations soon. Finally, on November 25th, exactly 1 year and 9 months since their debut, they will release their full album ‘Clé: Levanter‘.
