On June 29th, SUNMI released the MV for her digital single, ‘Pporappippam’. Check it out down below!
SUNMI ‘PPORAPPIPPAM’ MV:
The song’s lyrics describe the yearning for a lover, always waiting them to have a fun time during the night, a purple night. The song itself has funky retro synths in its chorus which is also reflected the MV, with some scenes transitioning like an old film.
Looking at the MV itself, we first see memories of the singer with a lover at night, hanging out under a train station, and around a bonfire. The sun then rises in the next scene as she wakes up on the shore of beach, below a purple sky. Throughout the video, there are also many beautiful shots of the choreography with the singer and her dancers in a variety of outfits such as a shiny sequenced dress, and a white crop top. As the MV progresses, we then see the singer wait for her lover before by the end of the MV, we see the bonfire party and other introductory scenes from the start and everyone enjoys their time across the night.
