Super Junior D&E have made their Korean comeback with the release of their mini-album ‘Bout You‘, and the title track of the same name.
We’ve waited for three long years for this comeback, and it doesn’t disappoint, the song is a fun, breezy dance track that evokes the feelings of a relaxed, laid-back summer.
The dance track was written by member Donghae, with J-Dub, and both Donghae and Eunhyuk are credited with co-writing the lyrics for the track.
The song delivers a tropical dance beat that has a rhythmic flow and features whistling, flute-like synths and auto-tuned vocals (which is not a bad thing in this instance). It’s a song made for dancing and luckily for us, Donghae and Eunhyuk just happen to be the main dancers of Super Junior.
The music video was filmed in New York and we get to watch the two of them with their crew of dancers trying to capture the attention of one woman. The music video gives us the chance to focus on the choreography which was always going to be lit! The melody will have you setting the dance floor alight.
The eight tracks on the album are a real mixture of styles. The tracks include, the title track ‘Bout You’, ‘Rum Dee Dee’, ‘I Love It’, ‘Livin’ It’, ‘Evanesce II’, Donghae‘s solo track ‘Lost’, Eunhyuk‘s solo track ‘Illusion (Obsessed)’, and a special bonus track ‘Victory‘.
