Super Junior selected by Hyesung as the hoobaes that will last as long as Shinhwa

Shinhwa‘s Hyesung personally finds that Super Junior will be the hoobae group that will end up lasting as long as Shinhwa.

Shinhwa is well known for being the longest-lasting idol group, as they debuted in 1998 and next March will mark their 15th anniversary.

While he was promoting his solo album ‘Winter Poetry,’ Hyesung was asked which hoobae group he thinks resembles and reminds him of Shinhwa.  Hyesung replied, “When I see Super Junior, I get Shinhwa-like vibes from them. I think they’re the hoobaes that will last as long as Shinhwa.” Hyesung finds that communication is important when it comes to group longevity.

Super Junior debuted in 2005 with 12 members and 2006 with 13 members as with the addition of Kyuhyun. They recently celebrated their 7th anniversary.
