Get excited ELFs!
K-POP super group Super Junior is set to make a comeback in the not-too-distant future!
A source from Label SJ, which was created by SM Entertainment to exclusively manage Super Junior, said that the group “is currently working on a new album, with the aim to release it in the second half of the year”.
The label also cleared up rumours surrounding Super Junior‘s comeback date. Fans have been speculating that Super Junior would be making their comeback on November 6, which would coincide with the group’s twelfth anniversary of debut. Label SJ denied these rumours, stating that “the specific date of the comeback has not been determined”.
ELFs may be a little disappointed to note that only seven members of the group will be participating in Super Junior‘s next comeback promotions. Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are currently completing their mandatory military service, whilst Kangin and Sungmin will also not promote with the rest of the group. However, this means that the remaining seven members – Leeteuk, Heechul, Shindong, Yesung, Siwon, Eunhyuk, and Donghae – will be back on stage within the next few months, which is certainly something to look forward to!
