Super Junior D&E (Donghae and Eunhyuk for those not in the know) have released their latest Japanese track ‘Sunrise‘.
‘Sunrise‘ will form part of their first Japanese album in three years ‘STYLE‘, which is a compilation of the duo’s releases: ‘Here We Are‘, ‘You Don’t Go‘, ‘If You‘, ‘Circus‘, ‘Lose It‘, ‘Can I Stay‘ and ‘Hot Babe’. The album will also include four brand new songs.
This track was written by Donghae and continues the D&E tradition of catchy, uptempo tunes. Although, this one has a little more of a tropical house feel to it. The song grooves along with a simple but addictive hook. Donghae has said that the song “makes any fan feel free, like in the midst of a summer day“.
My two favourite members of Super Junior always seem to be out to have a good time, and this song is no exception. Eunhyuk‘s rap is strong and gives the song just the right amount of swag needed to lift it to the next level.
The clip which was filmed in Japan sees them deep in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by nature and sunlight and then we switch to a brightly lit set to watch them and their dancers take on the infectious choreography.
