BIGBANG member T.O.P will be resuming his mandatory service sometime in mid-January
It has been revealed that the singer has been reassigned to a new post as a public service worker for the remainder of his military service, and will be stationed at the government district office in Yongsan.
In February 2017, T.O.P was assigned to be a conscripted policeman at the Gangnam Police Station. However, he was charged with, and found guilty of smoking marijuana in June 2017 and was subsequently dismissed from duty.
T.O.P will resume his mandatory service
The singer previously apologised for his actioned and stated, “With no excuses, I deeply regret (my actions) and am very fearful. There will never be such irresponsible actions again. I once again apologise and am deeply self-reflecting. I am very embarrassed of myself”.
He still has 520 days remaining in his mandatory service requirement.
