After a year and seven months, SHINee’s TaeMin is coming back with his first full album called ‘Press It’.
SM Entertainment is going all out for this comeback as previously seen from the poster of the projected timeline. From the teaser photos themselves, we can clearly see that the maknae of SHINee is all grown up and tackling a more mature theme to his image.
The music video teaser is only eighteen seconds long and does not cover hardly any music but for a brief moment but the imagery is strong with violence, kidnapping, and a load of blue roses. The colours of the teaser are also vibrant making one curious what the new song has in store for fans. Check out the video below!
For this comeback, TaeMin worked with renown artist and composer Bruno Mars, along with writing lyrics for this album, which he didn’t assist in before. His debut album ‘ACE’ won him end-of-year show awards and ‘Danger’ took home two music show trophies as well.
February 22 there will be a performance video for ‘Drip Drop’ along with the first highlight medley, February 23 presents the release of ‘Press Your Number’ and the second highlight medley, and then following after on the 24th will be the first performance video of ‘Press Your Number’ and the 25th rounds out with the second performance video of ‘Press Your Number’.
SM is definitely not holding back for this new album. As an avid fan of SHINee, I am most certainly looking forward to this comeback along with TaeMin’s writing style since his first album really showcased his dance-like groove with such catchy songs as ‘Pretty Boy’ written but SHINee’s JongHyun and ‘Ace’ which was penned by TVXQ!’s ChangMin. It will be interesting to see what his style has developed into with so many years in the business. What did you think of the teaser? We want to know!
