Earlier this year, Big Bang‘s Taeyang was named as an official honorary ambassador for the upcoming 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and now the performer will finally be revealing his new solo song for the major sporting event.
According to a report, Taeyang will be performing his solo song for the Winter Olympics on stage for the first time on November 1 a the Olympic torch relay opening ceremony. The event is to be held in Incheon’s Moonlight Park in Songdo.
Taeyang’s last release was ‘Darling’
At the time of his appointment as an official honorary ambassador Taeyang commented, “Through various performances overseas, everyone was able to reunite as one thanks to music, despite our cultural differences and language barriers. I hope that many people can share their hopes and dreams in light of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.”
November 1 will mark the first official ceremony leading up to the start of the 2018 winter games.
