Many people witnessed Taeyang’s wide range of complete hair transformations in the year 2013, while still managing the shape of his signature mohawk all fans know and love.
However, many don’t feel the same way about the do and want to know just what he was thinking. Now Taeyang has revealed exactly what he was thinking when he made the drastic changes to his hair with a variety of sources of inspiration: one of them just so happens to be National Geographic.
Taeyang made his latest appearance for promoting his new single “Ringa Linga” on KBS’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook. Taeyang revealed one of the sources of his inspiration to change his appearance: “Sometimes I get ideas from pictures of bulls in a field, or a scorpion in a desert from National Geographic, other times I get ideas from hairstyles of the tribal people in the Amazon jungle or Africa.”
Taeyang is very confident that his style will be liked by many and possibly copied; Taeyang is so confident he recommended cornrows for Yoo Hee Yeol who recently released an R&B style song.
Taeyang also assured that the wait for his second official album would soon be over; Taeyang stated that his fans fans should be excited for his upcoming second track from his album, “Body” (tentative), which was co-produced with Teddy. The song is about the beauties of the female body.
