BIGBANG‘s Taeyang has completed his first solo tour ”SOL JAPAN TOUR – RISE.” The singer held 3 concerts in 6 different cities, and performed for over 70 thousand fans during the entire tour’s run from August 12th to September 4th. The last two shows were held at Osakajo Hall where Taeyang took his final bow.
Taeyang handled every performance with the same special attention especially when it came to directing the stage setups, lights, and band arrangements for the tour. For the first song of the night, Taeyang performed “Beautiful” and then grabbed one lucky fangirl and serenaded her with his smash hit “I Need a Girl.” Taeyang then performed the Korean and Japanese versions of his recent hits from his album ”RISE” such as ”RINGA LINGA,” ”1 AM,” and ”Eyes, Nose, Lips.”
On September 4th, Taeyang brought one special guest to the stage who was none other then G-Dragon saying , “Let me introduce all of you to my friend from Korea, G-Dragon,” as he performed “Stay With Me.” Taeyang then gave an encore performance and performed some major classics from BIGBANG such as “Bad Boy” and “Fantastic Baby.”
Taeyang closed the concert with a heartfelt message to his fans, “Because of your love and support, I successfully concluded my first solo tour. In the future I will work even more together with your love and support,” along with, “I successfully finished my first solo Japan tour thanks to all of you. I promise to keep doing my best in my career.”
Taeyang is now back in Korea preparing for “2014 Taeyang Concert.”
