As part of the new ‘Station’ project that Lee Soo Man announce at the SMTOWN: New Culture Technology (NCT) conference, which you can check out the article here, SM Entertainment has released the teaser video and images to promote the first digital, ‘Rain’ by TaeYeon.
S.M. Digital Music Station is a new idea to showcase artists within SM Entertainment along with collaborative tracks featuring artists outside of the SM label. It was introduced on January 27th that TaeYeon would be the first artist to release the first digital. Each week, at a set time and date, a new song will drop for fifty two weeks straight. Which artist will be releasing a track is unknown prior.
‘Rain’ is a soft alternative ballad showcasing her amazing vocals as we had heard from her solo debut album, ‘I’. Donning a new haircut, TaeYeon is seen to be wondering about her apartment in a solemn mood as it seems she is reminiscing of previous moments passed. Along with the teaser video, SM Entertainment released two images as well. Check it out below.
I really love TaeYeon’s voice, so this new digital makes me happy. Though this technically isn’t a normal comeback, it has not been revealed if they will promote these new songs on any shows, I am glad to see another song come from her. I look forward to more digitals to come from this project. Are you excited for the ‘Rain’? Let us know!
