Previously, we were introduced to the Wonder Unit in Starship Entertainment and Yuehwa Entertaiment’s collaboration girl group, Cosmic Girls. The group will consist of twelve members and seem to be split up into four units with three members a piece.
We were greeted by Cheng Xiao, Bona, and Dayoung who would make up the first unit. We were also told that EXY is an official member but we do not know what unit she will be placed in. The Cosmic Girls’ Facebook has revealed the Joy Unit, which seems to consist of the three members who have bubbly personalities.
Xuan Yi is said to have a bright, positive personality and energy. Eunseo is known to be a playful prankster, while Yeoreum is quiet but once she gets on stage her personality really opens up. With the Joy Unit added, we now know half of the members who will make up the Cosmic Girls.
The idea of 우주소녀 is to debut in both Korea and China simultaneously, much like what TOP Media did with UP10TION, as one whole unit. We look forward to see where EXY will emerge from and what the ‘S’ and ‘N’ Unit will bring.
