On the most recent interview by Danny Im of 1TYM, he sat down with Tiffany of Girls’ Generation.
California native Tiffany made her way back home for a fashion photo shoot, and caught up with Danny of “Danny From LA” for a quick chat, and some cool poses.
She also revealed that the photos taken that day for the shoot would most likely be used for the June issue of “First Look” magazine.
When Danny asked if we could expect more TTS, Tiffany answered, “Yeah, definitely more this year. We have another album with the nine [girls], and we have another album with the trio as well; and I’m looking forward to both of them.”
Danny then asked about any future solo activities.
“Oh, definitely.” she responded. “If I get the chance to. I’m just waiting for the right timing.” she said. “Whether its solo or acting, I’m at that age where people can take me seriously as an artist, and it’s so nice, because all this time I’ve been fighting for people to take me seriously as an artist. And now, and it’s like, ‘Yes, now I can’t afford mistakes, and I’ve been trying to perfect everything I do.”
Then they went on to talk about her involvement in the Korean version of, “Fame.”
“After that,” she states. “I definitely want to pursue a career in musicals.”
Danny congratulated her on Girls’ Generation’s 6th anniversary, and asked what she thought had changed in the music industry since then (Girls’ Generation debuted in 2007).
“I think since then, an era of girl groups has started.” Tiffany said. “We were one of the first of many, and there are so many now. There’s girl power in the K-Pop scene, and it’s always been about boy bands.”
Girls’ Generation has recently wrapped up their Japanese tour, and will soon be heading out for their world tour, starting on June 8th-9th in Seoul.
At the end of the show, Tiffany surprised her sunbae with a giant cupcake, a card and an album for his birthday.
