On November 4th, boy group TO1 dropped the music video their brand new title track, ‘No More X’. Coming off their 2nd mini album, ‘RE:ALIZE’, the EP contains eight tracks including an English version of this promoted single. As per their previous EP, the album opens with an ‘intro’ track and concludes with a CD exclusive track, this time being ‘Infinite City’.
This marks their 1st comeback after re-debuting in May as TO1. Fans of the 10 members would know them originally as TOO. However, due to the change in their management company (switching from being managed by n.CH Entertainment to CJ E&M‘s label, Wake One Entertainment). This led to the act’s name change, re-debuting in May with their “1st mini album”, ‘Re:Born’ despite having released two other mini albums under the former name.
This latest title track talks about becoming beings with unknown fates, as if the fates are ‘X’. The hip hop dance elements allow the boys to continue showing their edgier side. With assured vocals and heavier attention of the rapping and vocal tone delivery, this leads to a repeated beat drop chorus. With minimal singing, it certainly is an earworm and leave listeners engrained with a glued impression.

TO1 ‘NO MORE X’ MV:
The music video shows the guys in both contrasting white and black outfits in the rain. This balance between good and evil forces sees itself through with the story developed. Drinking what seems to be red wine, it has special properties that transforms the members in ways illuminating parts of their body. As if it’s consuming them, the clean white attires too are drowned in darkly lit sets with no hope of returning to the light.
