TVXQ‘s has recently topped the Oricon Weekly Album Chart in Japan with their new album “Time”.
The group’s recent album managed to sell over 244,444 copies in the first week after its release. With this amount of sales, TVXQ broke their own record for the biggest week sales.
Oricon stated: “It′s the first time a foreign artist has sold over 200,000 copies of two consecutive albums since Avril Lavigne managed the feat with ‘Best Damn Thing’ five years and 11 months ago. It′s also been 12 years and 10 months since Bon Jovi became the first foreign group to set the record, meaning TVXQ is only the second.”
The group has already topped the chart back in 2010 with its album “Best Selection 2010″ and in 2011 with “Tone”.
