On April 6th, TVXQ‘s Changmin (other stage name Max) released the MV for his Korean solo debut track, ‘Chocolate’. Check it out below!
CHANGMIN ‘CHOCOLATE’ MV:
The MV starts out pretty intensely with a scene of the singer hanging off a ledge of a tall building overlooking the city. We see mostly choreography for the remainder of the video but Changmin dances effortlessly in fitted clothes that emphasise his body and tall height. The end of the MV shows the singer back on the rooftop at the start, simply looking over the dark skies of the cityscape.
The song itself has a groovy beat that showcases the high and powerful vocals of the TVXQ member. The lyrics were written by the singer himself.
Although the singer has had solo tracks before in the form of OSTs for Korean Dramas, and a Japanese solo debut album (‘Close To You’ released in 2015), this release marks his official Korean solo debut, 17 years after his debut in TVXQ.
‘Chocolate’ is the title track of his solo debut mini album of the same, featuring five other tracks. This includes a track, ‘Lie’, which features former I.O.I member and solo artist Chungha. The album is available now.
