TVXQ’s Changmin and Super Junior’s Siwon were officially discharged from military duties on August 18 after completing 21 months of compulsory military service.
Upon their discharge, they were greeted by a crowd of over 2,000 people who had waited all morning to see them.
Both performers had enlisted as military police officers in November 2015.
As for what’s next for the idols, TVXQ are planning a three city ‘Asia Press Tour’ which will commence on August 21.

The press tour will see them visit Tokyo and Hong Kong after they greet fans in Seoul. The ‘Asia Press Tour’ signals the groups return to the entertainment industry after both members completed mandatory military service. It marks the first time Yunho who was discharged from service in April and Changmin have promoted as TVXQ since enlisting.
As for Siwon, Super Junior are reported to be making a comeback in October. He has also announced that he will volunteer for UNICEF in Vietnam and will also participate in tvN‘s upcoming drama with Kang Sora.
