On June 19th, TWICE released the MV for their upcoming 6th Japanese single, ‘Fanfare’. Check it out below!
TWICE ‘FANFARE’ MV:
The song’s lyrics ask the listener to go forth and chase their dreams in life, with their lover always being by their side in support. The track then, akin to its title, features a loud brass introduction that continues throughout the course of the song.
Looking at the MV, we the members dressed in light blue band uniforms. They are in front of an orchestra of brass to bring grandeur to the stage. Furthermore, there is a comparatively muted set with a white floor and a few pastel coloured walled props, with the members wearing all white, to solidly show the energetic choreography that matches the upbeat feel to the song. There are also several individual or unit member scenes, each set having its own flare such as a stage with a microphone and a mountain of clothes. All these scenes maintain the vibrancy of the MV with punchy colours being used.
TWICE have recently finished their short Korean promotion period for their 9th mini album, ‘More & More’ with the same named title track. It has been a success with the group racking up 7 music show wins. Thus, bringing the group’s total wins to 104, making them the girl group’s with the highest number of music show wins in history.
