U-KISS’ Dongho’s ‘Don’t Cry Mommy’ Ranks First at Box Office

U-KISS‘ maknae, Dongho, has recently starred in the film ‘Don’t Cry Mommy‘, which came first in the box office rankings on its opening day.

There was 112,223 viewers coming in for the movie on the first day, beating out the audience numbers for both ‘Wolf Boy‘ and ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2‘. On the same day, ‘Wolf Boy’ had 80,922 viewers and ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2’ brought in yet another large number of 76,527 viewers. Those two movies were previously shifting between 1st and 2nd place, so the #1 ranking of ‘Don’t Cry Mommy’ is an impressive feat.

‘Don’t Cry Mommy’ was previously rated to be for adults only, but the movie makers protested, as their target aim were the youth. This movie deals with sexual assault of a young girl, who then commits suicide. In order to get revenge, the mother then murders the sexual predators of her daughter.
