Last sunday, Block B’s U-Kwon, faced an incident which made him unhappy and annoyed.
His Instagram account was hacked by a netizen, and a false post was made claiming the artist broke up with his girlfriend, Jun Sun-hye, who is a model.
U-Kwon, disappointed in this matter, posted on his account, “I have no idea who did this, but don’t do it again. The post is fake and I’ll take proper measures if this happens again”, which made the netizen who is involved identify himself and state that he won’t do it again.
However, the artist’s doubts seems to be persistent with regard to his account’s security. As a result he made his account private.
His account has been hacked repetitively by netizens. A year ago he and his girlfriend received harassment in large scale by fans who are against their relationship, where he even had to delete his account. As for what happened recently, I think he now took the correct step to keep his personal space secured.
In my opinion, the artists should be given their space to live their life. They have all rights keep things private as they wish. Trying to retrieve information or admit them on their private matters, or to show disagreement by such activities is not appropriate at all. Lately, many artists faced various incidents which made them stressed and annoyed. Despite it is a netizen or a fan, I recommend all of us to be careful in anything we say or do, so that the one’s we love won’t get damaged, mentally or physically. Let us know what do you think about such incidents?
