After Ulala Session‘s leader, Lim Yoon Taek passed away, many fans are curious about what will happen to the group in the future. Ulala Session’s member has recently opened up about the leader’s passing and their future plans.
In the official press release, the group and Lim Yoon Taek’s family, stated that: “Ulala Session′s leader Lim Yoon Taek, who had been fighting stomach cancer, passed away in a VIP ward at the Seoul Yonsei University Severance Hospital at 8:42 p.m. (February 11th). He had been with his loving family and his members. We are sorry to say he did not leave a will.”
Source close to Ulala Session shared: “The group had been planning a four-member system with Lim Yoon Taek as a producer due to his health. [Lim Yoon Taek passed away] while preparing for an album, which was due to be released in April.”
The source continued: “We don′t have anything planned as of yet. Once everyone settles down we′ll have to talk with the members.”
Another source from Ulala Company, stated: “[The members] all came together thanks to [Lim] Yoon Taek. We′re actually concerned they will despair following leader Lim Yoon Taek′s passing. They may have a hard time coping.”
The agency revealed that Lim Yoon Taek participated in the planning of the upcoming album, and even though he never finished any full songs, he had a few melodies organized for future use.
A week before his passing, the singer had been admitted to the Severance Hospital, and on February 8th his condition suddenly degenerated. He passed away in the end on February 11th.
Lim Yoon Taek’s funeral will take place for four days in Christian services, and the coffin will be borne on the morning of February 14th. He will then be cremated and laid down in Chungah Park. He is survived by his wife Lee Hye Rim and his daughter Lim Li Dan.
