False alarm Wonderfuls, it looks like the Wonder Girls making a comeback later this year were all just rumors. A media outlet reported earlier that the group will be rearranging the team. The report claimed that now solo artist and former member, Sunmi, would be rejoining the group along with Ye Eun, Yubin, and Hyelim.
A JYP Entertainment affiliate made a statement to “Newsen” on September 22nd saying, “The rumors about Ye Eun, Sunmi, Yubin and Hyelim returning as Wonder Girls is not true. The company hasn’t even discussed about anything related to Wonder Girls’ comeback.”
The most recent Wonder Girl’s activity was from Ye Eun who made her solo debut as HA:TFELT with her title track “Me“.
