On December 10th, UP10TION released their performance version of ‘Blue Rose’. Check it out below:
‘Blue Rose’ performance ver.:
The video features the same concepts, locations, and colours as the MV, as well as their outfits. The synchronisation and variations in dance steps show the hours and hours of practice that have gone into this choreography.
This is the group’s first comeback since ‘So Beautiful’ was released just three months ago. The song itself mixes soft and hard sounds, allowing them to experiment with a new, and fresh, hard-hitting sound.
UP10TION also made sure to change up their concept and visuals, with a variety of looks, including street wear. The teasers were all released as “Crime” or “Clue” versions. They had been releasing puzzle-like teasers since November, later revealed to be part of a tracing code, with the translations referencing their comeback.
The “Crime” album version is blue and has the members is colourful clothing, with the “Clue” version in red and the members in suits. They also come with a Special Agent Card, mimicking an ID, with the members dressed in a blue uniform – all of which was important to the MV.
The “Crime” UP10TION stole the ‘Blue Rose’, and the “Clue” UP10TION is chasing them to retrieve it.
