1. Master – God of Noodles
Based on cartoon series ‘Kooksooui Sin’ written by Park In Kwon, the drama tells a story of a young man, Moo Myung (played by Chun Jung Myung), who becomes a master of noodle-making to seek revenge on Kim Gil Do (played by Jo Jae Hyun) who stole Moo Myung’s identity when he was younger. Other confirmed actors for the drama are B1A4’s Baro as the younger counterpart of Kim Gil Do, Lee Sang Yeob as Park Tae Ha, Jung Yumi as Chae Yeo Kyung and Gong Seung Yeon as Kim Da Hae.
The drama will follow everyone’s favorite ‘Descendants of the Sun’ and will begin its airing on April 20th.
2. Entertainers
Written by Yoo Young A (‘Miracle in Cell No.7’, ‘No Breathing’) and directed by Hong Sung Chang (‘The King of Dramas’,’You’re Beautiful’), the drama tells a story of Shin Suk Ho (portrayed by Ji Sung) who once was a director in the biggest entertainment company, but now is the CEO of a new and tiny entertainment agency. One day, he decides to gather people to form a band and through various incidents becomes a real and successful manager. Ji Sung will be joined by CNBLUE’s Minhyuk, Teen Top’s L.Joe, Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, and more.
‘Entertainers’ will take over the Wednesday and Thursday evening time slot previously occupied by ‘Come Back Mister.’
3. Perfect Sense
‘Perfect Sense’ is a youth drama revolving around the story of a blind English teacher A Yeon (played by Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung) and her guide dog Sol Yi. It was revealed that the drama is based on real person Yoon Seo Hyang.
The KBS’ drama will air its first episode on April 20th.
4. The Flower in Prison
The MBC’s drama tells a story of a woman Ok Nyeo (played by Jin Se Yeon) who was born in prison and deals with the Joseon legal system. The drama is directed by Lee Byung Hoon (‘Dae Jang Geum’) and written by Choi Wan Kyu (‘IRIS’, ‘Triangle’). It was also said that even though the drama will be fictionalized, a number of real historical figures and events will appear as well. Jin Se Yeon will be joined by Go Soo, Jung Joon Ho, Choi Tae Joon, and more.
‘The Flower in Prison’ will follow the current weekend drama ‘My Daughter Geum Sa Wol.’
