Upcoming New Dramas for September

A lot of new dramas will begin airing this September. Check out the most anticipated and choose your favorite.

1. GLASS MASK – based on Japanese manga story of a woman whose father is accused of murder. She has to survive and plan her revange. The drama will be directed by Sin Seung Woo and written by Choi Yeong In. Seo Woo (‘Cinderella’s Sister’, ‘The Housemaid’) and Lee Ji-hoon (‘You Are My Destiny’, ‘My Daughter the Flower’) were confirmed as the lead roles for ‘Glass Mask’. The drama has been confirmed to begin running on September 3rd from Monday to Thursday under TvN.

2. I LIKE YOU – The drama revolves around the story about three high school students who reunite in their mid thirties. The begin to see each other’s different lifestyles, joys and sorrows. ‘I like you’ will be directed by Sin Kyeong – soo and written by Lee Hye -seon. The lead roles will be played by Yoon Hae-yoong (‘Big’, ‘My Precious You’), Lee Jae-hwang (‘Smile, Mom’, ‘ The Queen Returns’), Yoon Ji-min (‘Paradise Ranch’, ‘Warrior  Baek Dong-soo’) and Park Hyeok-kwon (‘My Princess’, Dream High’). ‘I Like You’ is confirmed to begin running on September 3rd.

3. VAMPIRE PROSECUTOR 2 – highly anticipated sequel of ‘Vampire Prosecutor’ – one of  OCN’s biggest hits. The drama tells the story about prosecutor Min Tae Yeon (played by Yun Jong Hoon) who becomes a Vampire. He rejects the life of Vampire and still lives as a righteous prosecutor. Alongside Yun Jong Hoon (‘Vampire Prosecutor’, ‘East of Eden’), Lee Yeong Ah (‘The Baking King, Kim Tak Goo’, ‘The Light of the East’), Lee Won Jong (‘Mr. Perfect’, ‘The Equator Man’) and Lee Kyeong Yeong (‘A Millionaire on the Run’, ‘Mr. Perfect’) were confirmed for the lead roles. The drama will begin running on September 9th.

4. NICE GUY – The drama will be directed by Kim Jin Won and written by Lee Keyong Hee.’Nice Guy’ will revolve around the story of a man who meets a woman with her memory lost and he uses her to take revange on a woman who betrayed him. Song Joong Ki (‘Will it Snow for Christmas?’, ‘The Case of Itaewon Homicide’) and Moon Chae Won (‘The Princess’ Man’, ‘My Fair Lady’) were confirmed as the lead roles for the drama. ‘Nice Guy’ will begin airing on September 12th.

5. MY DAUGHTER SEO – YEONG –  A traditional family drama about the relationship between a daughter and a father. The lead roles will be played by Lee Sang Yoon (‘HomeSweet Home’, ‘ Jejoongwon’) and Choi Jeong Won (‘Perfect Game’, ‘Brain). Directed by Yoo Heon Gi and written by So Hyeon Kyeong, the drama will begin running on September 15th.
