I’m sure that I’m not the only one who is currently obsessed with the modern “Boys Over Flowers” K-drama: “Cinderella and Four Knights,” right? So to those who are also addicted to the drama, have you guys checked out the music videos/tracks for the OST of the drama yet?
If not, no need to fret, I have made a playlist and will be updating it regularly when new tracks and music videos are released for the drama. So, let’s go!
The first artist up to sing for the tvN drama is BTOB. The first part of the original sound track is titled “For You“ where it is a lively and an upbeat song that is perfect for a youthful romantic K-drama. The music video gives a glimpse into what is to come in the first two episodes of the drama.
tvN‘s “Cinderella and Four Knights” have dropped their second music video featuring Jessi!
The second part of the original sound track is titled “My Romeo” where it is a fast paced song that is well portrayed with what is happening in the drama – from trying to complete the mission to being bombarded to do unnecessary things. The music video gives sneak peeks into what is going on in episode three and four of the drama.
On August 26th, two original sound track music videos have been released for the the drama which is of the following: GFRIEND‘s SinB ft. Si Jin‘s “Confession” and Green Cacao ft. 모네‘s “언젠가 그대 다시 만나면.”
The consequent artist up to sing for “Cinderella and the Four Knights” is Apink‘s Bomi. The singer lends her voice to the K-drama in support for her group member and label-mate, Apink‘s Naeun (who is currently starring in the drama as Park Hye Ji).
“Without You” describes the distress and bitterness of an unrequited love between Park Hye Ji (played by Son Naeun) and Kang Ji Woon (played by Jung Il Woo).
Younha‘s “I Believe” is definitely my favorite track so far in the drama. I might be 50% biased, since I’m a big fan of the singer (by the way, off topic, Younha also sung one of my favorite songs in “Doctors.” You can check it out here.)
Younha‘s voice is full of passion, but yet also melancholy. “I Believe” is an impeccable track that showcases the emotions of desire/longing, turmoil, and adolescent rebellion.
DICKPUNKS‘s “별이 쏟아지는 너” is a peppy and lighthearted track that shows clips of what is going on in episode 7 and 8 of “Cinderella and Four Knights.” To keep it short without revealing too much of what happens in episode 7 & 8, the childhood history behind some of the characters are divulged and something major will occur.
For those who aren’t familiar with DICKPUNKS, they are a rock band based in South Korea that was formed in November 2006. They are under TNC Company and Sony Korea. Currently consisted of four members: Kim Tae Hyun (Vocal), Kim Hyun Woo (Keyboard), Kim Jae Heung (Bass), and Park Ga Ram (Drum).
“Cinderella and the Four Knights” is to be aired starting on August 12th, 2016 at 23:00 KST on tvN.
