Earlier in the week, it was said that Ladies’ Code‘s manager would be facing criminal charges for speeding, which led to the group’s fatal car accident back in the beginning of September. Polaris Entertainment received the news regarding the manager, and will finalize a statement concerning the matter soon.
Along with the manager being charged, the police investigation concerning the accident was concluded.
According to a police spokesperson in Gyoenggi, the back wheel came off as a result of the accident when the car slipped in the rain. The police department inspected the car carefully, and said no further investigation would take place.
October 21st marked 49 days since member EunB passed away, and family and fans alike paid their respects to the singer.
Polaris made the statement to Newsen on the 21st, “Today is the 49th day since EunB′s passing. Her family will quietly carry on with a Christian ceremony without a special event. The agency staff will be going to the memorial part with EunB′s family. Lots of fans remembered EunB′s 49th day and sent a lot of presents, which are laid out at the memorial park.”
The three members that had been in the hospital since the accident, Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny, were all discharged as of October 23rd.
Polaris said, “The health conditions of Sojung, Ashley, and Zuny are all almost back to normal, so they were discharged. Right now, Sojung is in Wonju, Gangwon-do, Ashley in the US, and Zuny in Gwangju, Jeolla-do, resting with their families. After the members have found stability mentally, they plan on returning to the dorms.”
We are glad to hear of the girls’ full recovery, and continue to wish for strength for the families of Ladies Code’s lost angels, Rise and EunB.
