T.O.P’s condition is finally improving

T.O.P is reported to have gained consciousness for short periods today. His mother spoke to reporters stationed outside the hospital after 1:45pm KST this afternoon, saying “My son’s condition has improved a lot…I had eye contact with my son”. She also confirmed that he recognised her when making eye contact.

Update 1

Yonhap News reports that a “senior police official from T.O.P‘s police squad” with T.O.P‘s mother at the hospital said, “He recognised me. It seems he can communicate”.

Update 2

Naver has just reported that T.O.P is now fully conscious with strong vital signs, and is due for release from the ICU tomorrow, 9 June 2017. He will continue with medical and psychiatric treatment as required.
