On July 1st, VERIVERY released the title track MV for ‘Thunder’. Consequently, they also dropped their 4th mini album, ‘Face You’. Check the MV out down below!
VERIVERY ‘THUNDER’ MV:
The songs’ lyrics describe the feelings of insecurity and the combining of two people to be together. The song itself features very powerful vocals with an accompanying hard hitting synth chorus. It also features a paired down bridge to show off the group’s more delicate vocals.
Looking at the MV, we see the majority of the group riding bicycles together before they come across a missing persons poster for member Kangmin. Throughout the rest of the MV, the boys investigate and follow the path that Kangmin took to find him. He ran and was chased through abandoned buildings at night whilst wearing a watch that had electricity or thunder/lightning attached to it. The boys soon find the watch had been taken off as they find him in another building. However, flashes of lightning hit Kangmin as he starts being raised from the ground, losing consciousness. The member slowly but surely make their way towards him and grab him at the last second to save him.
‘Face You’ is the second part in the group’s ‘Face’ album story, following their 3rd mini album, ‘Face Me’ which was released in January 2020 with the title track, ‘Lay Back’. This mini album contains a total of five tracks and is available now.
