[IMPORTANT] CALLING OUT THE CUBE ENTERTAINMENT FANDOMS. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ AND SHARE.
Some of you might already know, Hong Seungseong who is the CEO of Cube Entertainment was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig disease, which unfortunately has no cure. It’s a disease that affects nerve cells and is characterized by a rapidly progressive weakness, it keeps progressing until it results to death. The progression of the disease can only be slowed down with medication, but there is currently no cure for it. The median survival from the time of diagnosis is three to five years. About 10 percent of ALS patients can live 10 years or more. Survival beyond 20 years is rare. Father Hong kept it a secret for himself, and went everyday to work, even having problems moving, swallowing, and breathing.
UCC 2013 wasn’t planned to begin with; it might be Father Hong’s last UCC. Although many of you might not know him, he’s the man behind the dreams of our idols, the one who they call Father. He’s the one who silently made us smile, and stood quietly by our side, now it’s time for us to do the same for him.
What I suggest is for every one of us to try his best to cheer him up. Tweeting him is great, but I have a better idea.
Let’s all gather and make a video project for him. Let’s thank him for what he has done for BEAST, 4Minute, Apink, BTOB, G.NA, Huh Gak, Mario, Roh Jihoon, and for being such a great father to each one of them.
The video project consists in making a video where we sing “Be alright” for him. And send it to him while trending #BeAlrightHongCube, We will decide together later on when the trending will be.
What I want you guys to do is simple, it’s to record a video of you lipsynching to “Be Alright” in Korean, or to write a part of the lyrics IN KOREAN on a piece of paper and take a picture or a video of you, just try to do anything you can. You can also send in a picture of you with a cheerful message to Papa Hong.

We will make a montage of all the videos to make one video gathering all the fandoms from around the globe.
