It’s finally here! Vixx have finally concluded their ‘Conception‘ trilogy with their latest dark and mysterious tracks, ‘b‘ and their 3rd mini album, ‘Kratos.’ As we expected from the teaser video, a lot of this music video happens in freeze-frame, save for the dance breaks. And we’ve finally figured out why!
Mastermind Ken is not only powerful, but able to control time as well, which is fitting for the lyrics he sings, “Let me control you.” At first, the continuous jumping of the camera is confusing, until Ken’s face is revealed in the reflection of a window. This indicates that the video takes place from his perspective.

The video also sees the re-appearance of Gugudan’s Nayoung who plays the love interest from ‘Dynamite.’ This time she’s caught between Leo and Ravi, and seemingly pushes N off from a great height.
If Starlights were expecting some real answers, they got very few. If anything, from whatever theories exited prior, the only thing clear is that Ken is most definitely the mastermind in this Greek narrative.
As far as the instrumental goes, it’s a pleasing mix between a strong, up-tempo chorus and becomes quite minimalistic during the rest of the song. In this way you’re able to appreciate the vocals and Ravi’s catchy rap. Also blowing me away as always, are Leo and Ken’s powerful notes.
Overall, it’s not out of the ordinary for Vixx to present a unique music video such as this while providing fewer answers than we want. For those who really want to get into how ‘Conception’ plays out, one suggested order of videos is ‘Fantasy,’ ‘Dynamite’ and ‘The Closer.’ This is due to the presence of bandages on Leo’s hand that were not present during the Hades era, but have returned now.
So, were you satisfied with this conclusion to the year long trilogy?
