The wait is over, Starlights! VIXX‘s new subunit, LR, has finally stepped onto the K-Pop scene with its new music video for ‘Beautiful Liar!’
As fans already know, LR is made up of vocalist Leo and rapper Ravi. The new subunit’s music video was released on August 17th and I must say, the video is captivating and the song is incredible!
The music video features Leo and Ravi fighting because of a girl. The music video is dark, mysterious, and artsy. The video also gives off the feelings of heartbreak as they face the struggles of love and lies. Leo shows off his charms as he plays the piano while Ravi gives fans a heart attack with his strong actions.
The track itself is a beautiful ballad with a lovely instrumental accompaniment. It showcases Leo’s voice that has an emotional edge to it. Ravi’s rap adds an interesting element to the song and it’s a nice contrast to Leo’s soft vocals.
In addition to the title track, VIXX’s first subunit has also released a debut mini album with four more songs. The title track, ‘Beautiful Liar’, ‘Remember,’ and ‘Ghost‘ were composed by Ravi. The remaining two songs, ‘Words to Say‘ and ‘My Light,’were composed by Leo.
