The day that all Wannables had been dreading is finally approaching… Since the end of the second season of ‘Produce 101‘, fans knew that the group would be disbanding.
Wanna One has announced that they will be officially disbanding on the last day of the year, December 31st. This is the day that their contract expires. However, they will still carry out official activities like attending award ceremonies even after the end of their contract. All their official activities will be concluded at their final concert in January.
Minhyun will return to NU’EST next year. At NU’EST W‘s ‘Double You‘ concert in Seoul, the group announced they had big plans for 2019. During the final cut of their concert, the screen showed a fifth flower blossoming, which symbolises Minhyun‘s return to his original group. Even though Wannables may be sad, it will also be exciting to see his contribution to the newly energised NU’EST.
Minhyun is not the only member who is returning to their original group. Sungwoon will be making his comeback with Hotshot in the middle of next year. Fans will be anticipating his return to the group.
Recently, Wanna One made their final comeback as a group with ‘Spring Breeze‘ on November 19th. It was a bittersweet song that successfully highlighted the group’s musical talent. The MV looked back on all the happy memories they shared together in the 1.5 years that they were a group.
