22 September would be the most memorable day for all Singaporean Wannables. The 11 boys
who won their hearts through the popular survival competition series Produce 101 Season 2 came
to Singapore last Friday for “WANNAONE 1ST FANMEETING IN SINGAPORE: WANNA BE
LOVED”.
Before their fanmeet, Officially KMUSIC got the chance to sit down with the lovely boys for a media
conference.
Kang Daniel, the center of the boy group, shared with us that he had tried Singapore’s famous dish
Chilli Crab and has fallen in love with it. They were also keen to try other local dishes such as
Chicken Rice.
Lai Guan Lin also shared that the group struggles with the language, but they enjoyed being
together as one. Lee Daehwi then added about the group’s schedule, “We practice hard. We eat hard
and then we practice hard. That’s our diet.” Daniel also urged the fans to watch their reality show
WannaOne Go to find our more about their room arrangements.
The group also chose Park Woojin as the most energetic member. He then said, “Maybe because I
don’t like silence. I like energetic and noises. They actually calm me down.” Ong Sungwoon also
added, “He likes to make pranks and shout a lot.”
Kang Daniel was then chosen as the best dressed in the group while Park Jihoon was chosen as
the fashion terrorist by the group. Daewhi explained that, “Jihoon loves wearing bucket hat. His
head is really small and the bucket hat is big on him and it looks weird. But he is handsome so it is
fine.”
Guan Lin ended the press conference with a confident reply, “That kind of hat suits someone like
me better. Jihoon got a small face and he use such a big hat, it kinda cover his face and we can’t
see his face. But then that is his style so it is alright.”
Wannables should also look forward to more activities from this boy group as Daehwi shared that Daniel, Kim Jinhwan and himself are working on a song right now.
