Between September 25th and 29th, WEEEKLY released two batches of concept photos for their upcoming 2nd mini album, ‘We Can’. Check it out down below!
WEEEKLY ‘WE CAN’ CONCEPT PHOTOS:
The first set of photos show the girls in cute striped shirts with suspenders, paired with white shorts and a tie. Surrounding them are many bouncing balls as in the individual shots they each hold a different coloured one. Moving on to the second set, the group now play with various strings. The group photo has the girls sitting in an asymmetrically hues such as red, pink, yellow and blue. Wearing green school uniforms, it follows a similar theme to their debut track’s (‘Tag Me’) fun school concept. All in smiles, the group show off their fresh faced visuals. The strings continue on in their individual and unit pictures as the girls interact with it in various ways.
‘We Can’ will mark the group’s first comeback since their debut back in June with their 1st mini album, ‘We Are’. The group’s debut was highly anticipated being from Play M Entertainment (the first girl group to debut under the agency since APINK in 2011). Hype is high for their return as they took the record of the highest rookie girl group album sales in 2020, selling over 21,000 copies. They won over fans with their cohesive lively performances and fun concept with all members sporting natural hair colours.
More spoilers, the track list and MV teasers are yet to be released so stay tuned. The group will also be holding a comeback showcase on the day of the album’s release.
WEEEKLY‘s 2nd mini album, ‘We Can’ will be released on October 13th, 6PM KST!
